Marisa Field (born July 10, 1987 in Comox ) is a Canadian volleyball player .

Career

Field began her athletic career at the age of three with ballet and jazz dance . She finally got into volleyball in high school. With the team from the University of British Columbia , she won the CIS championship twice in a row. The Canadian national player was honored as the best middle blocker at the 2011 NORCECA championships . From 2010 to 2012 Field played for the German Bundesliga club Envacom Volleys Sinsheim . After a season in France with Istres Ouest Provence Volley-Ball, Field played again in the Bundesliga with the VolleyStars Thuringia in 2013/14 .
