Bernhard Zimmermann (* 1952 in Aalen ) is a German computer scientist and local politician for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . From 1998 to 2018 he was Dean of the Department of Automation and Computer Science at the Harz University of Applied Sciences in Wernigerode .

Bernhard Zimmermann was born in Baden-Württemberg and studied computer science from 1973 and 1978 at the Technical University of Berlin . As a computer scientist received his doctorate he in 1985 at the Technical University of Berlin to engineer doctor . Bernhard Zimmermann was a scientific assistant and teacher for special tasks at the aforementioned Technical University .
