The Berntheiselsches Haus at Kranichsteiner Straße 110 is a listed half-timbered house in the southern Hessian city of Darmstadt .
History and description
The massive , gable constant , plastered brick building was built in the 19th century and is used to the present day as a residence.
It has a steep gambrel with hipped in beaver tail cover , a truss gable and gable dormers . Are located on the door and the windows sandstone jambs . The building owner and first resident was the brickworks owner Berntheisel. This type of half-timbered house was built with bricks from our own production.
Monument protection
For architectural and city-historical reasons, the building is protected by the State of Hesse .
