Beroroha is a municipality ( commune ) in the Atsimo-Andrefana region in southern Madagascar . In 2010 it had about 20,000 inhabitants and is the center of a district of the same name .
Beroroha is located south of the Makay Mountains on the north bank of the Mangoky River . In the interwar period, Beroroha was an important area for tobacco cultivation, with the yields from cultivation being transported on the river. In 1948 a parish was established by the missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette . The community is the location of an airport with a 950 meter long runway. It is the end of the national road 15 .
