Bert Obereiner (born February 13, 1970 in Schwerin ) is a German civil engineer and politician of the Alternative for Germany party in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2016 , he was elected to the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania via the AfD state list .

Life

Little is known about Obereiner. He lives in Schwerin. He was nominated as a candidate by his party in the state elections at number 15 on the list, but did not run in any constituency, which is rare with the AfD, according to Zeit .

He hardly appeared in the election campaign. Die Zeit wrote: “Traces lead to a construction company he is said to have worked for. Facebook shows that he likes music by Rammstein , Pegida walks and Thilo Sarrazin . "

In September 2019 Obereiner was confirmed as deputy chairman of the AfD state parliamentary group in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
