Bert Sundström
Bert Sundström (* 1959 in Stora Tuna , Dalarna ) is a Swedish journalist . He worked from 1996 to 1999 as a correspondent in Washington for the news program Rapport of the Swedish radio station Sveriges Television and from 2002 to 2005 as a correspondent in Moscow .
During the protests in Egypt on February 3, 2011, Sundström wanted to report on the demonstrations in downtown Cairo and then disappeared without a trace. That evening, Sundström was ill-treated and seriously injured and was taken to a Cairo hospital.
