Bert Tonkin
Bertram Gardiner "Bert" Tonkin (born October 29, 1912 in Kew , † March 28, 2007 in Box Hill ) was an Australian badminton and tennis player .
Career
Bert Tonkin won the Australian Championships in 1948 and 1951. For Australia he started in the Whyte Trophy in 1938, 1939 and 1949. At Victoria International he won the men's doubles competition in 1933, 1934 and 1937, and the mixed rankings four times in a row from 1939 to 1947.
