Bertram Macdonald
Bertram Macdonald ( Bertram Hector "Bert" Macdonald ; born May 25, 1902 in Kings Norton , Birmingham , † December 28, 1965 in Wellesbourne , Warwickshire ) was a British middle and long distance runner .
Life
At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he came third in the team race over 3000 m and won silver with the British team.
In 1925 he became the English champion in the mile run .
