Bertram Schattel

Bertram Schattel (* 1956 in Radolfzell on Lake Constance ) is a German composer and music teacher .

Life

Schattel studied piano and singing from 1976 to 1981 at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts . After completing his studies, he worked as a freelance choir director and music teacher in Stuttgart until 1989 as well as at the music schools Gerlingen and Köngen - Wendlingen . Since 1989 Schattel has been working as a piano, singing teacher and choir director at the Kirchheim unter Teck music school . In addition, he mainly composes and arranges vocal music and musical theater pieces , more rarely also instrumental music . Between 2006 and 2009 he also worked as a lecturer at the Stuttgart University of Music.

Bertram Schattel is married and currently lives in Kirchheim unter Teck. His father was the editor and writer Helmuth Schattel .
