Bertrand Desmazières

Bertrand Desmazières ( 1916 - March 19, 2006 ) was a French diplomat .

Life

Bertrand Desmazières was married to Didy Desmazières. Bertrand Desmazières was a senior civil servant in Rabat, Morocco, from 1940 to 1962, where his son, the graphic artist Érik Desmazières, was born in 1948 and his son Jean-François Desmazières on October 1, 1952. Bertrand Desmazières was co-author of a book about General Resident Hubert Lyautey .

In 1949, Bertrand Desmazières graduated from the Center des Hautes Etudes administratives sur l'Afrique et l'Asie modern (CHEAM). Bertrand Desmazières was Counselor at the Embassy in Lisbon in 1969 when he replaced Maxime Huré as Consul General in Dakar , Senegal . In 1967 Bertrand Desmazières was first counselor at the French embassy on Place de France in Tananarive in Madagascar .
