The vocational schools JPC Heinrich Mette Quedlinburg is a vocational school in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt . The school building at Bossestraße 3 is a listed building .

The school is located on the north side of Bosseplatz , north of the historic city center of Quedlinburg. The school building is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register.

Architecture and history

The building was built in the years from 1906 to 1908, according to other information in the years 1905/1906 by the town planning officer Laumer . The design of the facade presents itself in the form of a simple Art Nouveau . Some elements of the Neo-Baroque can be heard .

School operation

The school was opened on April 11, 1907 as a boys' elementary school. Today the vocational school is located in the house. The name given in 2007 is reminiscent of the founder of a Quedlinburg seed breeding company, Heinrich Mette .

The school offers several training and school areas, including:
