The company health insurance company MEM Meuselwitz ( BKK MEM for short ; also BKK der Maschinenfabrik und Eisengießerei Meuselwitz ) was a German company health insurance company based in Meuselwitz . Membership was possible for all those with statutory health insurance from Thuringia .
history
The BKK was established on January 1, 1991 in the company Maschinenfabrik und Eisengießerei Meuselwitz GmbH (MEM). Since the spin-off of the Herkules Meuselwitz GmbH machine factory and the establishment of Meuselwitz Guß Eisengießerei GmbH in 1992, the BKK area has extended to these two companies.
On January 1, 2018, it was integrated into the Metzingen company health insurance fund. The Meuselwitz location is to be continued.
Contribution rates
Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been uniformly stipulated by the legislature. After the statutory reduction in contributions from January 1, 2015, from this date onwards, it raised an income-related additional contribution of 0.3% of the underlying income. As of January 1, 2017, it charged an additional contribution of 0.6%.
