Bettina Belitz

Bettina Belitz (born September 21, 1973 in Heidelberg ) is a German author and journalist for young people .

Life

Bettina Belitz began to write at the age of twelve. After completing her studies in history, literature and media studies, she worked from 1993 to 2005 as an editor and from 2005 as a freelance journalist, including for Die Rheinpfalz . She made writing her profession in 2008 after her agent discovered excerpts from the books featured in Bettina Belitz's blog .

Bettina Belitz has a son and has lived in a village in the Westerwald since 2007 .
