Bettina Domer

Bettina Domer (born August 10, 1966 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( SPD ). In the 2016 election to the Berlin House of Representatives , she ran for the first time in the Spandau 1 constituency and was directly elected to the House of Representatives with 31.0% of the first votes .

Life

Domer completed training as a teacher and was active in the profession. Thanks to her many years of professional experience ( university entrance examination , § 11 BerlHG), she was able to start studying education and political science at the Technical University of Berlin in 1995 , which she successfully completed with a master's degree. She was a scholarship holder of the Hans Böckler Foundation . She then completed part-time training as a Protestant deaconess . Bettina Domer is currently working at the German Trade Union Confederation in the Federal Board Administration in the Migration and Anti-Racism Policy Department. Domer has a son.

politics

Domer was a member of the urban development committee, the education and culture committee and the integration committee of the Spandau district council assembly. In 2016 she won the direct mandate for the constituency Spandau 1, which includes the districts of Hakenfelde, Falkenhagener Feld and the outskirts. She is spokeswoman for the SPD parliamentary group for the Socially Integrative City and District Management program.
