Bettina Hauert (born June 18, 1982 in Hagen ) is a German professional golfer .

Career

As a teenager, Hauert had been successful since 1999. In 1999 she was German runner-up among the juniors and won the European title with the girls' team. In 2002 she became German amateur champion. In 2003 she took 1st place in the Qualifying School of the European Tour. Like Martin Kaymer, she played for GC Bergisch Land during her amateur days. Like Kaymer, she is trained by Günther Kessler.

Since the year 2004 Hauert plays on the European Ladies Tour LET , the Ladies European Tour. On May 20, 2007, she won her first professional tournament in Switzerland. In September 2007 she won again on the Ladies European Tour. She won the Finnair Masters at Helsinki Golf Club by three strokes. With her second place at the Masters in Wales, Hauert qualified for the Solheim Cup held in September 2007 . After Elisabeth Esterl (2003), she was only the second German to qualify for the European team.

At the end of June 2010 she took a break from golf and began training as a fully qualified PGA golf professional at the Cologne golf club. She now runs her own golf school with eight employees and offers training in the golf club.
