Bettina Heiderhoff

Bettina Susanne Heiderhoff (* 1966 in Wuppertal ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

From 1985 to 1990 she studied law at the universities of Trier , Oxford , Regensburg and Utrecht (first state examination in 1990 / second state examination in 1994). After completing her doctorate in 1997 at the University of Leipzig and habilitation in 2003 in Leipzig , she was professor for civil law with a focus on inheritance and family law as well as for European private law at the University of Hamburg from 2006 to 2013 and has held the professorship for international private and since 2013 Procedural law and civil law in Münster .

Her main research interests are German and international family and family procedural law, international civil procedural law and EU private law.
