Residential building

The residential building Bettrather Straße 59 is located in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The building was built in 1901. It was entered under No. B 147 on March 28, 1995 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

architecture

The two-storey three-window house with a mezzanine floor is in the immediate vicinity of the colorful garden ; Flat pitched gable roof over a protruding box cornice . Plastered facade in traditional structure with plinth and floor cornice, imitation cuboid on the ground floor and joint cut on the upper floors. The windows of the two main floors are uniformly rectangular; that of the mezzanine is smaller. To crown the ground floor windows, decorative fields similar to keel arches with vegetal ornamentation and imitation keystones ; on the upper floor profiled frames with gable roofing (kinked tail gable ) and flat ornamentation in the gable fields. The windows above are framed with a simpler ear frame. A richly decorated frieze band as a transition to the eaves . Dating inscription above the lintel of the house entrance (right): "Anno 1901"
