Beulah is a non-parish settlement in the northeast corner of Lee County, Alabama , south of Valley . It is part of the Columbus (Georgia) metropolitan area . It is bounded to the north by Chambers County , to the east by the Chattahoochee River and by Halawaka Bay by Lake Harding to the south. Beulah was named after the Beulah Baptist Church, which was founded in 1851. A separate post office with the place name existed between the years 1856 and 1906.
