Beuren is a suburb of Waldhausen , a district of Aalen .
Location and transport links
Beuren is located east of the city center of Aalen and east of Waldhausen and is connected to traffic by the L 1080 state road. There is also a small road to Elchingen .
The hamlet lies on a plateau of the Swabian Alb , the Härtsfeld .
history
Beuren was first mentioned as a Boer in 1298 , the Neresheim monastery was wealthy during this time. From the 15th century, the Teutonic Order was the main owner. In contradiction of the order, Oettingen claimed sovereignty and the high court.
In 1872 Beuren had 131 inhabitants.
