The Beutenstetterhof is a place in the municipality of Wittislingen in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau ( Bavaria ). The wasteland is one and a half kilometers southwest of Wittislingen in a depression.

history

The Beutenstetterhof was probably a clearing settlement founded by Wittislingen , which was originally called Bitunstat . It was handed over to the hospital with all rights when the hospital was founded in Dillingen in 1257. The Jesuits bought the farm in 1643, which is now privately owned.

There is evidence of a church in the village since 1291. Today's Catholic Chapel of St. Joachim was built in 1629 by Bishop Heinrich V von Knöringen . The chapel is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Wittislingen .
