Beverley Cressman

Beverley Cressman (* United Kingdom ) is a British actress .

Career

Cressman had her first leading role in 1995 as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart in the Reeltime Pictures film and Doctor Who offshoot Downtime . Other leading roles in the film played Nicholas Courtney and Elisabeth Sladen . In 1999 Cressman was seen as a driving school instructor in the children's series Grange Hill . That same year, she made an appearance as Debbie Hunter on the television series Pig Heart Boy . 2004 saw Cressman again as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart in the film Dæmos Rising . Her husband Miles Richardson also starred in this film . The role of Kate Lethbridge-Stewart was also included in the regular Doctor Who television series years later . There Kate was played by Jemma Redgrave . Cressman also worked as a voice actress and QVC presenter. She also appeared as Clarissa Jones in the Big Finish radio play Death and the Daleks and as Doctor Carnive in The Mirror Effect . In 2018 it was announced that Cressman would play her role as Kate Steward again in the reeltime film Anomaly .

Private life

In 1994, Cressman married Miles Richardson . In 2005 the couple had two sons together. In 2009 the couple separated. In August 2015, Cressman lived in Warwickshire . She lived there with her three sons.
