Beverley Ann Mitchell (* 22. January 1981 in Arcadia , California ) is an American actress , film producer , Country - singer and a former model . She gained great fame through her role as Lucy Camden in the television series A Heavenly Family (1996-2007).
life and career
Beverley Mitchell grew up in Ventura , California. She is the only child of Sharon and David Mitchell, who separated and eventually divorced after the start of the series A Heavenly Family . Mitchell stayed with her mother.
Mitchell was discovered by a talent scout as a child while making a scene in a mall. She quickly started shooting commercials and doing modeling. She made her television debut in the series Big Brother Jake (1990). Her first major film role was in The Crow (1996). Shortly thereafter, she appeared at Warner Bros. as one of the new faces in the television series A Heavenly Family (1996), which later became the longest-running series in the family drama genre in US television history. While Mitchell was making the series, she graduated from high school in 2000 . In addition to acting, she studied film at Loyola Marymount University . She is socially committed and actively helps in the projects RADD Kids and KMART Kids Race Against Drugs (German: the fight of children against drugs ).
In November 2006, Mitchell's first album, named after her, was released in the USA. The CD contains the song Angel , which was introduced in episode 227 of A Heavenly Family .
On October 1, 2008, Mitchell married tax advisor Michael Cameron, with whom she has been dating since 2001, in Ravello , Italy . Mitchell gave birth to a daughter on March 28, 2013 and a son on January 28, 2015. The couple's third child, again a daughter, was born on July 19, 2020.
