Beverly Matherne

Beverly Matherne (born March 15, 1946 in Louisiana ) is an American writer.

She was born in Acadiana , on the Mississippi River near New Orleans . She studied French literature at the University of California, Berkeley , and is a member of the CIEF ( Conseil International d'Études Francophones ). Her poems have been published in several publications.

She is a professor at Northern Michigan University and lives in Marquette .
