Bhaderwah is a small town ( Municipal Committee ) and hill station in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir .
It is located in the Doda district . In the 2011 census, the population was 11,084.
The city of Bhaderwah is located in the mountains 85 km east-northeast of Jammu in the Neru river valley , a left tributary of the Chanab . The city lies at an altitude of 1651 m . It can be reached from the district capital Doda via the 35 km long Doda Bhaderwah Highway .
12 km south of Bhaderwah is the mountain lake Kailash Kund , where there is a Hindu pilgrimage site.
