Bhandara ( Marathi भंडारा Bhaṇḍārā ) is a city in the Indian state of Maharashtra .
Bhandara is located 60 km east of Nagpur on the west bank of the Wainganga . The city is the administrative seat of the district of the same name .
As a city, Bhandara has the status of a Municipal Council . The city is divided into 32 wards . At the 2011 census, Bhandara had 91,845 inhabitants.
