IG Open de Paris 2016

The IG Open de Paris 2016 took place from May 11th to 14th, 2016 in Paris , France . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2015/16 and belonged to the PSA 25 category .

Last year's winner was Paul Coll , who was eliminated in the semifinals against Chris Simpson . Simpson also won the final against Declan James with 11: 8, 11: 8 and 11: 4 .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Baptiste Masotti a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000.
