Bianca Winkelmann (* 28. July 1967 in Rahden ) is a German politician of the CDU and directly elected member of parliament for the state election Minden-Lübbecke I in North Rhine-Westphalia .

education and profession

In 1984 Winkelmann graduated from the Freiherr-vom-Stein-Realschule in the East Westphalian town of Rahden . She then began training as a retail saleswoman, which she successfully completed. Since 1995 she has been an independent agricultural entrepreneur.

Politics and party

Winkelmann joined the CDU in 2004 and was elected directly to the Rahden City Council that same year . She has been chairwoman of the CDU city association since 2011 and was also chairwoman of the Rahden CDU council group from 2014 to 2017. In the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, she is a full member of the committee for the environment, agriculture, nature and consumer protection, the committee for equality and women and the petitions committee. She also acts as a spokesperson for the environment, agriculture, nature and consumer protection for the CDU parliamentary group.

State elections 2017

Winkelmann won the constituency of Minden-Lübbecke I in the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 with 43.51% of the votes against the previous owner of the direct mandate , Ernst-Wilhelm Rahe from the SPD .
