Ernst-Wilhelm Rahe (2013)

Ernst-Wilhelm Rahe (* 29. December 1958 in Bad Oeynhausen ) is a German politician of the SPD from the East Westphalian community Hüllhorst . He was from 2012 to 2017 and has been a member of the state parliament in North Rhine-Westphalia again since May 2019 .

education and profession

Rahe comes from the Hüllhorst town of Tengern . From 1980 to 1984 he studied social work at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences with a degree in social worker . He then worked in this profession at the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband , Kreisgruppe Minden-Lübbecke . From 1988 to 2012 Rahe was a consultant in media and public relations at the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband NRW. Since 2001 he has also been a specialist in assistance for the disabled at the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Political party

Rahe joined the SPD in 1976.

State elections 2012 and 2017

In the state election in 2012 came Rahe, having previously been in 2010 in the state election Minden-Lübbecke I as a successor to the SPD candidate and member of parliament Karl-Heinz Haseloh had competed unsuccessfully again for the SPD Minden-Lübbecke as a direct candidate, and for the first time won the Constituency. In the state elections on May 14, 2017, he was unable to defend the direct mandate and left the state parliament.

After the SPD MP Guido van den Berg died on May 2, 2019 , Rahe moved up to the state parliament on May 10, 2019.
