Beaver fountain (Heilbronn)
The beaver fountain is a listed cultural monument in the Heilbronn district of Biberach .
description
The fountain on the gable end of the residential building Unterlandstrasse 2 was built in the 17th century in the Baroque style. For the year 1629 a "tube well" is documented, later a well with four tubes is mentioned. The well box is polygonal with one long side on the wall of the house. A stone beaver sitting on the well holds the coat of arms of the Teutonic Order , which had ruled Biberach since 1681.
