Library of the Lithuanian Sports University (lit. Lietuvos sporto universiteto biblioteka ) is a university library in the second largest Lithuanian city ​​of Kaunas . It belongs to the Lithuanian Sports University (LSU). There are two reading rooms. The fund consists of 160,070 copies, a total of 39,220 titles, including 155,250 books and series, 4715 manuscripts, 60 audio and video, 15 electronic and other documents (as of 2007).

history

In 1945 Lietuvos kūno kultūros instituto biblioteka ( LKKI library) was established in Kaunas. In 1947 the first student reading room was built. In 1999 it became Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademijos biblioteka and then LSU library. In the beginning there were a total of 1,250 printed products. In 2002 she became a member of the Lithuanian Association of Scientific Libraries.
