Javier Fernández Abruñedo , called Bicho (born February 20, 1996 in Sada , A Coruña ) is a Spanish football player . His greatest success so far was the promotion from the Segunda División to the Primera División with Deportivo La Coruña in the 2013/14 season .

Club career

Bicho began his career at Rayo Sadense CF, then moved to the youth department of Deportivo La Coruña and went through the youth department there until 2013. From the 2013/14 season he was then fully part of the second team of Deportivo La Coruña, although he made his debut and scored his first goal for Deportivo La Coruña B in the 2012/13 season.

Although Bicho actually belonged to the squad of the second team, he was allowed to make his debut for the first team in the Segunda División on August 17, 2013 in the 1-0 win against UD Las Palmas . He made his Copa del Rey debut for Deportivo La Coruña in a 15:14 win after penalties against FC Córdoba on September 11, 2013. In the Copa Del Rey, he was allowed to play another game and in the league he was used five more times.

For two years, FC Barcelona borrowed Bicho for their second team, FC Barcelona B, for the 2013/14 season and on July 14, 2014 he officially moved to FC Barcelona B. In the 2-0 defeat on the first matchday against CA. Osasuna on August 23, 2014, Bicho celebrated his debut for the Catalans second team. After 18 second division appearances, Bicho was then loaned to CD Leganés . In January 2016, his loan contract with Leganés was terminated and he was loaned to the third division club SD Compostela .

National team

After playing three games for the Spanish U-16 national team in 2012 , Bicho was nominated by Santiago Denia in 2013 for the Spanish U-17 national team and was allowed to win the 1-0 friendly game against the Italian U on January 21, 2013 -17 national team. In 2013 he played two more games under Santiago Denia.
