history

Local chronicles mention the name Bienmüller as early as 1545. Around 100 years later the mill owner was called Johannes Frantze, and in 1815 Andreas Krack was named. His grandfather Barthel Krack once reported that the Biemühle had burned down years earlier due to an accident . Andres Krack's daughter married a Mr. Zollinger, brother of the fine miller from Neumühle on the southern outskirts of Weichersbach. However, the Biemühle did not face competition from the brothers, in 1866 it was sold, the previous owner emigrated to America, but left his wife and children behind. The Mottgerser Philipp wood acquired the Biemühle for 600 guilders. Hölzer's daughter Barbara married Friedrich Heil from Uttrichshausen, who took over the Biemühle in 1882. It has been in the family ever since.

In the 1930s, two new roller mills made the grinder an advanced mill. In 1959 a second turbine was added, which only generates electricity. Both turbines developed 33 hp. In 1982 "the Biemüller" Karl Heil bought a grain receiving silo with a capacity of 3000 quintals, as well as a cleaning system, an automatic scale, a drying system and a concentrate plant. Three years later, a trash rack cleaning system for the water in the Mühlgraben was added. Only in January 2004 did one of the turbines have to be replaced by a cross- flow turbine .
