The Bildad Peak is an approximately 800 m high, striking and snow-covered mountain in Grahamland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 8 km west of Spouter Peak on the southern flank of the Flask Glacier .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out a geodetic survey in 1955. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1957 after the fictional character of Captain Bildad in Herman Melville's 1851 novel Moby-Dick .
