The Spouter Peak is a distinctive, 615 m high and rocky mountain peaks at the Oskar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 7 km south-southwest of Daggoo Peak on the south side of the mouth of the Flask Glacier in the Scar Inlet .
It was geodetically surveyed and partly photographed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1947 . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1956 after the Spouter Inn in New Bedford , a location in Herman Melville's 1851 novel Moby-Dick .
