The wayside shrine in front of the Krahenberg 12 property is a small monument in the Upper Franconian town of Kronach , which was created in the 17th century.

description

The torture made of sandstone rests on a simple base with a square floor plan, on the front of which the inscription "1699 V. P. 1816" is carved. A round, completely fluted column shaft rises above the base , the only one of its kind in the Kronach district . The shaft bears a two-sided attachment flanked by volutes , which is closed by a curved cornice . In the arched picture niche at the front there is a sheet metal panel with a representation of the Holy Trinity , underneath there is a relief with a house sign .

The wayside shrine , which is under monument protection , was temporarily integrated into a retaining wall behind it, but is now free again.
