The wayside shrine from the 18th century in Aletshausen , a municipality in the Swabian district of Günzburg ( Bavaria ), is at the southern end of the village on Bundesstraße 16 . The wayside shrine is a protected architectural monument .

The wayside shrine consists of a low, rectangular niche with a gable roof . Inside there is a carved and captured neo - Romanesque angel with a child.
