Lei Tingjie ( Chinese 雷挺婕 , Pinyin Lei tǐng jié * 13. March 1997 in Chongqing ) is a Chinese Chess - Grandmaster . In 2017 she won the Chinese Women's Chess Championship.
In 2014 she won the 4th Chinese Women's Championship in Wuxi and received the FIDE Women's Grandmaster title (WGM) . In 2015, Lei won the open women's championship of the Moscow Open in front of the women's junior world champion Alexandra Goryachkina. She took part in the 2015 Women's World Cup in Sochi , where she first won against former junior world champion Deysi Cori before losing to Humpy Koneru in the second round and was eliminated. In December 2015, Lei shared 1st to 5th place in the Böblinger Open with 7 out of 9 points with Oleksandr Subarjew , Oleksandr Bortnyk , Jure Škoberne and Maximilian Neef .
In 2016, Lei played in the Chinese team in the women's competition at the Asian Cup in Dubai and won the gold medal with her team. In March 2017 she was awarded the title of Grand Master (GM) by FIDE. In the Chinese team championship, Lei played in 2012 and again since 2016 for Chongqing , 2013 for Shandong , 2014 for Qingdao and 2015 for Hangzhou .
