Wu Shaobin
Wu Shaobin ( Chinese 吴少彬 , Pinyin Wú Shàobīn ; born February 4, 1969 in Anyang ) is a Chinese chess player who has been playing for the Singapore Chess Federation since 1999.
He won the Singapore championship twice: in 2003 and 2005. He played for China and Singapore in four Chess Olympiads : 1994 (for China) and 2000 to 2004 Singapore. He also took part twice in the Asian team championships (1991 for China and 2009 for Singapore).
With the Beijing Patriots team , he became the Chinese team champion in 2005 .
In 1991 he became International Master , and since 1998 he has held the title of Grand Master . His highest rating to date was 2545 in January 2003.
