Matteo Ferrantino

Matteo Ferrantino (born March 1, 1979 in San Giovanni Rotondo ) is an Italian chef.

Career

The native of Apulia cooked in the Ikarus restaurant at Roland Trettl's in Hangar 7 in Salzburg. In 2008 he moved to the Vila Joya restaurant with Dieter Koschina in Portugal, where he was head chef.

In November 2017 he became head chef at the bianc restaurant in Hamburg , with a view of the Elbphilharmonie. The restaurant was awarded one Michelin star in 2019 and two Michelin stars in 2020.
