Bill Forsyth
William David "Bill" Forsyth (born July 29, 1946 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish film director and screenwriter . He began his career producing documentaries and industrial films before making his first feature film, That Sinking Feeling , in 1980 . His comedy Local Hero achieved particular fame .
