Bill Green (Sprinter)
Bill Green (actually William Ernest Green; born May 1, 1961 in Pittsburgh , † March 4, 2012 in Spokane ) was an American sprinter .
At the Athletics World Cup in Montreal in 1979 , he won the 4 x 400 meter relay .
The US boycott prevented participation in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. At the alternatively held Liberty Bell Classic , he won bronze over 400 m .
