The Bindersee in southern Saxony-Anhalt is one of the Mansfeld lakes, about 14 kilometers southeast of Eisleben , in what is now the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt.
The lake is approx. 750 meters long and approx. 400 meters wide. It is located in the local area of Rollsdorf , a district of Seeburg . Coming from the sweet lake , the evil seven flows through it on their way to Saale.
The Bindersee came into being, together with the Kernersee , located about a kilometer to the east , after the salt lake was largely dried out or drained from 1892 to 1894.
