The inland lake is a lake in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
It is located in the municipality of Pinnow . The lake has a maximum north-south extension of 725 meters and measures a maximum of 400 meters from east to west. The water level is 27.8 meters above sea level. Two trenches flow towards the lake in the south, including the Bietnitz ; from the west a ditch flows out of the Pinnower See . There is a runoff to the north to the Mühlensee , which drains its water via Mühlenfließ and Warnow towards the Baltic Sea.
The residential development of the village Pinnow is on the south bank. A forest area borders to the north. To the northeast, the terrain to Petersberg rises up to 67.5 meters.
