The Bietnitz is about five kilometers long flowing water in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
course
The watercourse rises from a spring pond, which is located about 500 meters north of the Peckatel district, which belongs to the municipality of Plate, on an arable land. In the northerly direction of flow, the Bietnitz touches the communities Sukow and Raben Steinfeld . In the municipality of Pinnow , the course turns in a northeasterly direction. In Pinnow the Bietnitz flows into the inland lake . This drains via the Mühlensee and the Mühlenfließ , to which the Federal / State Working Group on water has assigned the same river code number (96414), via the Warnow into the Baltic Sea .
The flowing water overcomes a height difference of about twelve meters in its course. The source is located just northeast of the North Sea-Baltic watershed . The sturgeon, which flows just two kilometers to the west, drains towards the North Sea.
