The Bin (n) zberg [ (ɪm) ˈb̥ɪntsb̥æːrg̊ / ˈb̥iəntsb̥æːrg̊ ] is a partly wooded elevation in the Entlebuch municipality of Escholzmatt-Marbach .
As the southern branch of the only slightly higher peep knob , it forms the eastern boundary of the Schärlig . It falls to the southeast in Wittenmoosgraben , at the exit of which the Schärknubel protrudes to the east .
Names
As a leading member of the composite name, the plant name appears Binz < mhd. Am (e) Ȝ < ahd. Binuȝ , bulrush , sedge ', as Hintergliedmasse the word mountain .
The oldest documented evidence of the Binnzberg dates from 1592 (buoch schachen ... stost an bintz berg ) . The farm mentioned here is attested as early as 1347 (because of a wide, hear in daz gůt ze Witenmos ... and is called uffen Bůchschachen ) ; no later than the 18th century, this name is out of date (1730 [cop. 1800] to the Buhschachen now Binzberg called ). In 1682 a distinction is made between under and upper Bintzbärg for the first time, and in 1691 there is also talk of a small bi (n) tzberg .
The earliest reference to the Schärers matten can be found in a document from 1660 (the Weid touches Heinrich Buocher's matten ... an Bintzberg ... an des Schärers matten ... uf den gradt) , in 1690 it is documented as an archipelago ; Finally, in 1693, a purchase is attested by the schärer courtyard .
