Birchall Pearson

Birchall Pearson ( Birchall Lewis "Bert" Pearson ) (* 1914 in Hamilton , Ontario , † September 13, 1960 ibid) was a Canadian sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1932 , he reached the semi-finals over 100 m , the quarter-finals over 200 m and came fourth with the Canadian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 1934 he won silver at the British Empire Games in London with the Canadian 4-by-110-yard relay.

He was Canadian champion twice over 100 yards or 100 m (1931, 1932) and over 200 m or 220 yards (1932, 1933).
