Birgit Eckelt (born May 28, 1960 in Munich ) is a German screenwriter, director and author .

Life

Birgit Eckelt studied theater studies, art history and modern German literature at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and graduated with an MA . She has been working as a screenwriter and director for documentaries, corporate films and reports since 1991. The main focus of her work is portraits, modern architecture, intercultural topics and cultural history. Birgit Eckelt is a member of the Federal Association of Directing .
