Birgitte Røksund (born November 1, 1985 ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Birgitte Røksund started in the Junior European Cup in 2002. She won her first two races in Ål . Their first major event was the 2004 Junior World Championship in Haute-Maurienne . There she was eighth in the sprint, fourth in the pursuit and won silver with the relay. A year later, a 34th place in the Kontiolahti sprint was the best result. In 2006, she just missed a medal win in Presque Isle in fourth place with the relay. The best result in an individual race was 17th place in the individual.

Since 2007, Røksund has competed in women. The first major event among seniors was the 2007 European Biathlon Championships in Bansko . In the continental title fights in Bulgaria, the Norwegian ran to places 40 in the sprint, 27 in the pursuit, 37 in the individual and came ninth in the relay competition. Also in the Biathlon European Cup it takes since of 2007. In 2009 she again took part in the European Biathlon Championships and was in Ufa 15th in the sprint, 17th in the pursuit, seventh in the individual and fifth in the relay race. Birgitte Røksund made her debut in the World Cup in the 2011/2012 season and finished 35th in the sprint in Hochfilzen and won her first points in the first race. Their last international race she denied the IBU Cup 2011/12 in Canadian Canmore .
