The Birnbach is an almost two and a half kilometer long stream in the Straubing-Bogen district in Lower Bavaria and a right tributary of the Menach .

From the headwaters in the north of Trudendorf , it first flows south in a large curve to the left, passes Trudendorf in the northeast, finally crosses the SR 6 district road and then runs eastward between Weidenhofen and Obermenach towards the Menach, into which it flows as its last right tributary opposite Häuselberg . The Birnbach flows exclusively in the area of ​​the city of Bogen.
