The commercial building at Bismarckstrasse 93 is located in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ) in the Gladbach district .

The house was built in 1897. It was entered under No. B 004 on December 4, 1984 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

architecture

The four-story residential / commercial building with a gable roof and mezzanine attic is from 1897. The facade is horizontally and vertically structured by two superimposed plinth zones on the ground floor and the first floor. The vertical structure is created by the slightly eccentric bay window on the two upper floors with a mezzanine floor and tower crowning. The tower spire, the roof covering and the main cornice were renewed in simple forms after 1945. The vertical structure of the facade results in a tripartite division, which is emphasized by a central and two side elevations. The ground floor receives the house entrance on the left, a two-winged commercial passage to the courtyard on the right , a shop window with a shop entrance in the middle . The house entrance is equipped with two round half-columns.
